Chapter 103. A Sham?
Freya’s POV
“This marriage needs to stop!” Milo’s voice commanded as his eyes burned into his Father. “It’s a sham.”
“A sham?” Rufus replied in confusion. “How did you come to that conclusion, son?”
Milo laughed, cold and cruel. “There has to be something going on, unnatural or perhaps witchcraft for a beauty like Freya to fall so in love with an old man like you.”
I could sense the frustration from Rufus as his anger began to rise within him.
‘Stay calm, my love,’ I said to Rufus, opening my mind hoping he will receive my telepathic message ‘It’s what he wants. Milo wants our happy day ruined.’
