Chapter 24
As he sped past, he noticed some birds in the trees, frantically fluttering their wings in response to the wind that surged through the forest. He had never seen his beast in such a fierce state before. Without a doubt, his mates disregard for him had caused him great pain. He only let him to shift to a partial extent when he eventually made it to the packhouse.
His canines and razor-sharp claws were still extended, and there was still a hint of white fur on his skin. His brown hair reached his pointy ears. Furthermore, his deep red eyes revealed that his wolf was currently in control.
"Fred," he bellowed as he made his way to the main floor's left wing through the corridor. His Beta was in front of him in no time.
