Chapter 79

Gerald's POV

The mark on my neck burns more intensely the longer she looks at me. I'm fighting it with everything I have, but it's almost unbearable. Ineffective. Blade goes crazy in my mind; it nearly drives me insane. Now that his mate has returned, he feels much better and wants to be with her. But because Rosalie has been kidnapped, I have to fight the need to let her stay in my pack. And that won't lead to anything positive. 

I see a female get out of the vehicle. Not really my type, and I can tell she isn't mated which I noticed the moment I look at her neck.

She has a boisterous demeanor; I am aware of females who are constantly in need of male's attention. She is the woman that arrived from Alpha Derrick's pack with Rosalie and my mate, according to what my Beta told me. She belonged to his harem of women. 

This is great. 

She can help me push Zeila out of my pack, which will be helpful. I can't focus on this mate
