Gerald's POV

We haven't been able to locate Rosalie for a week. Despite a thorough search by Golden Iris' elite warriors, no sign of her was discovered. In the end, my Beta also took part in the search party, but in vain. Past incidents with wolves going missing from the pack involved either pups wandering too far into the woods or wolves ignoring the border. However, we located them in a day. 

But a week later, even I am beginning to give up. Rosalie was swiftly whisked out of our reach by whoever took her hostage. Even if she ran away willingly, she did an excellent job of hiding her trail.

The latter is quite improbable, as she eagerly anticipated returning to Gabriel. Her determination to leave Red Claw and reject Derrick, her destined mate, served only one purpose: it made it clear that she wanted to be with my son as soon as possible.
