Chapter 93
Morgan's POV
The door opened suddenly, the blinding light pouring in like a spotlight illuminating my shame. I shielded my eyes, the brightness nearly unbearable in my current weakened state. Was this my ending? I had already imagined a dark fate for myself, weak and disoriented from a lack of water and food. The chains binding me, those accursed silver binds, had dulled my senses and taken my wolf away from me.
I scowled at the unexpected guests as they entered my cell room, bracing myself for whatever fate awaited me.
“Theron? What are you doing here?” I uttered, my voice barely a whisper, the sound rattling in the quiet darkness. He crouched in front of me, his expression inscrutable, and I couldn’t read his thoughts from the severity of his blank demeanor.
“Morgan, this is your last chance to come forward with the truth. Otherwise, I will gladly end your pathetic excuse of a life,” he growled, and my eyes widened in surprise. He was offering me a chance.
