Chapter 94
Theron's POV
I had to do something and very fast. I could not stand around and let anything else happen to those I cared about. I was leaving the room and heading straight to the cells where Morgan was being held. The storm outside was not just any storm; it was one of severe darkness that Morgan needed to face. I kept my wits about me and told myself that I would not let my anger get the better of me where my enemy was concerned. He needed to think I would help him if he helped us first.
As I stood before his cell, the weight of my decision pressed heavily on my mind. I took a second to steady myself and my breathing. He had so much to answer for, but I had to keep my cool for the sake of myself and everyone else.
The rumble of the thunder echoing outside as it got closer to the palace urged me inside the door.
