Chapter 91

“Are you all done?” Seth inquired from Mark as they put out some baked goods in the basket.

The Beta was throwing up a party for the birth of his son and had asked for Mark to make enough mouthwatering pastries to satisfy everyone attending the party. Seth looked extremely happy at the attention his stall was getting and the vast sales coming in.

It made Mark happy to see his cousin so excited after a long while; his illness was tuning off too. Since Mark did most of the hard work in the shop, it enabled Seth to rest well as desired.

“Yes, I am.” Mark rolled his eyes. “You have been probing me all day, Seth. What is it with you?”

Seth chuckled. “I am only trying to ensure everything is on track. The Beta is a better person than the Alpha. I am sure he would be glad to have us.”

Mark hummed absentmindedly as he tried to map out the plans he had in his head. He couldn’t be more glad for the chance to be in the midst of the exact people he needed to probe.
