Leila's POV

"I suggest you do your own diggings if you doubt her. If you say my mate is lying then you are calling me a liar." He said in his Alpha voice and the room shook, all mummuring died down. The two elders that bombarded me with questions shook their heads repeatedly and bowed down. This is the first time that I can say that I am pleased to hear his voice. I smiled and straightened up looking ahead.

"If any of you have any question concerning my mate, then I am the right person to provide answers to those questions." He continued and I could breathe freely again.

"Does anyone have any question?" He bellowed again and the room was dead silent. They were scared of him and it calmed me.

"No one then this meeting is over. See you all in the next meeting." He stood up and grabbed my hands pulling me with him. I felt tingles as my hand connected with his. There was a spark as our skin touched, I felt it and I knew he could.
