Chapter 74

Leila's POV

I woke up when someone jammed my shoulders with some kind of metal. Hot tears filled my eyes but I blinked them away refusing to show the man how hurt I was. I was glad that it was a dream. He slid another plate towards me and I looked beside me to see that the other plate was gone.

" Eat." I rolled my eyes. Was that the oy thing they could say?

" I'm not going to eat until you tell me where my friend is and who the hell sent you to kidnap me!" I yelled at him but he didn't flinch. Instead, he turned around and walked out of the room leaving me alone. My stomach growled in protest and I stared at the meal which was just a few feet away but I turned away from it. It could be poison.

I force myself to stay awake and I watch as another masked man comes into the room. He takes away the other plate and slides the new one to me. I tried to talk to him but just like the others, he ignores me completely and leaves the room.
