Chapter 175. Deteriorated Alpha

Alpha Knight returned from his quarterly report meeting with the mayors of the cities in Balendin Pack and sauntered straight to his quarters. He was exhausted. That word was even a freaking understatement. He was deteriorated. Every minute, he felt his life snapping away at the edges and his wolves losing their grip on his soul. They were amazing creatures and had been working so hard to keep him, especially Fervour who managed to tether unto the connection with Olive and feed it to his soul. It was the reason he hadn't gone wild totally. A part of him knew she would be back and she wasn't snatched away from him forever.

“Are you okay, Wayne?” Dolly's voice sounded in his ears as he crossed the kitchen door. He turned and saw his sister coming out of it with two cups of coffee.

“I'm fine,” he managed a reply. She hurried towards him and handed him one cup.

“I checked your trash, Wayne. All of Mufasa's prescriptions are there. You aren't taken them anymore.”
