“You know where we’re supposed to go?” Olive asked, even though she had learned back at the Senshi Temple that a dragon always knew where their rider was headed.

“Crystal clear,” Calor answered.

They had been flying for two hours straight, and everyone was already exhausted. Olive’s back felt like it could break in two at any moment from all that stiff, straight-backed riding. She needed to lie down for a full day before she could recover.

“How far are we now?” she asked.

“How about you just talk to me through the bond instead of shouting over the noise of the wind?”

Olive furrowed her brows. “I can do that?”

“Of course you can. What do they even teach you at the Senshi Temple nowadays?”

“Let’s try it then.”
