LENORA'S POV

My eyes squinted in an attempt to adjust to the bright lights of the room, but on opening my eyes, I realized that I was in a completely different place with multiple wires around me and a tube across the bottom of my nose.

"Why am I in the hospital?" I asked myself in an attempt to regain my memories, but I didn't need to bother searching for them as everything instantly became clear to me.

"Evelyn!" I called, screaming at the top of my lungs. I recall her falling to the ground and her gown becoming soaked in her blood.

"Evelyn!" I yelled again, springing up from the bed. A sharp stinging pain occurred in my arm as I realized I was connected to a drip, but that didn't stop me from getting up to find Evelyn as I forcefully removed the needle from my arm, ignoring the pain that came with it, and rushing out of the room with my feeble and weak knees.
