Chapter 21

"Jeez!" I screamed at the sight in front of me, a tall man was standing right beside my bed with his hands tucked in his back pants. His face held no emotions as the familiar emerald eyes poked my skin.

"You startled me" I protested with my hands on my chest as my heart raced fast.

"You're awake" he said, not minding what I had said earlier on.

"Meet me in my room immediately" he ordered after sucking his teeth then he walked out of the room as my brows cringed in confusion at his attitude.

I massaged my temples, trying to relieve myself of the throbbing ache I was feeling in there before the memories from last night flashed through my mind and I buried my head in my palms out of embarrassment.

I just wish I could sulk up my humiliation alone in my room because the moment I would step out, different faces would fall on me, criticising and shaming me.

"Why does Alaric want me to leave the room?"
