LENORA'S POV 

Just as usual, Alaric had offered to drop me off at school and I would say I was already getting used to his company even If he could sometimes be a douchebag. Every time though.

The drive was filled with silence and the only sound was the music playing in the car. It was one of my favourites and I was tempted not to guess he purposely played the song.

I had caught him stealing glances at me all through the ride until the very last one where he glued his eyes on me for a long time and was literally not paying attention to the road.

"I don't think I want to die now" I squirmed while adjusting myself on the seat.

He only giggled after my sentence and have I ever mentioned how cute his giggles are. It's rare to see him laugh and when he does that it's precious.
