Lucien was holding her so tight to himself, he wasn’t going to let her go.

He would have been here in the cell with her if he could make himself permanently there but he knew wishes were not horses.

Daciana was awake, he knew that but she wasn’t talking to him.

Maybe she was thinking, he didn’t know how this works but he was very sure that she wasn’t sleeping.

You couldn’t be sleeping in your dream, it wasn’t possible for him.

“Why are you quiet?”Lucien asked.

He was going to make her talk about what was going on in her mind, she might not want to talk about the bruises on her face but she might have something else that was bothering her, maybe it would be okay to talk about it.

“I am not, just enjoying your company” Daciana answered, she wasn’t giving him the attention she would normally give to him.

She was quiet, Daciana was thinking about something that she didn’t want to share, whatever had happened in the cell had changed her.
