Chapter 48
Killian paced back and forth in his throne room, his mind racing with thoughts of war and betrayal. He had been waiting for days for word from Sara, But the silence from her was deafening, and it was starting to make him paranoid.
He had expected her to return with information on how to finally defeat them once and for all and Killian had yet to hear back from her
Killian's worst fears were confirmed. He summoned his council to the throne room and demanded to know what they knew about Sara's whereabouts.
As he waited, his mind drifted to the last conversation he had with Sara. She had promised to give him the information he needed to launch the attack, but she had yet to deliver. Killian was beginning to grow impatient, and he could feel the tension in his body building with each passing minute.
When the council members filed into the room, Killian didn't waste any time.
"My Lord, what seems to be the problem?"
