Jamirez smiled to himself as he walked away from Sara, proud of his cunning plan to make Lucien see the truth about his mate.

Jamirez had always known that convincing Lucien to go to the human town would be a challenge but when his so-called mate suggests it for a date, it would be easier.

He had deliberately planted the idea of going on a date with Lucien in the human town. He had hoped that the suggestion would pique Lucien's interest.
