Chapter 13. She's Starting to Show

After healing Hiro, I fell asleep. I drank half of the jar, where the spirit energies they collected are stored, to gain strength and use her power. Then I healed Hiro and gave him strength. I carried him to guest room 1. That is where Hiro has been sleeping since the day they lived with us.

While waiting for him to wake up, I fell asleep instead.

Suddenly, I was awakened by the rustling sound outside. What was it? Gosh, in the middle of my sleep. What a disturbance.

When I walked outside and was about to see the unknown creature, it immediately hid. She is a nine-tailed fox, so despite hiding, I can still see her. A stunning nine-tailed fox who's holding a knife.

"W-what's wrong? Show yourself, I'm also a fox," I said, hoping I would get her trust. Luckily, I did.

She dropped her weapon and showed me her face. She's stunning, but it doesn't feel unnatural. Her beauty feels genuine like it didn't come from a curse. Is she exempted from the curse?
