Chapter 67. Hiro's Love

Although I tried so hard not to, I still feel it. I was beyond confused. What I wanted to believe is what I wanted to see. Yet, the answer to my questions is in front of me and I still find it hard to believe.

I went forward, directly focusing on Hiro's direction where Polo is also heading. Every step I made is heavy. But for me, I was glad for seeing Hiro. I was glad for seeing him back. The fact that he made the most significant decision of betting his life just to save every single one of my race makes my heart beat faster than it always did.

Reaching him feels so weird. My heart won't calm down.

I shook my head.

I have a lot of time to think about Hiro. Tonight, what I needed to know is not his reasons for coming here, for choosing to put his life on the line even if he must have something to say about it. I came closer to him to ask something more important than that.
