I read through the beautiful printed letter on my hand, my finger running over the flower shaped edges. A smile was on my lips, as I read the words out loud.

“Your Highness, you are cordially invited to the rosewood pack for the coming of age celebration of our daughter, Christina. This party will be held tomorrow evening, by 9pm and we would love to see your there.”

My heart fluttered with joy at the thought of going to a party. I felt completely honoured that they would send me an invitation to this party. I placed the letter back in its envelope. I swirled my chair around, feeling giddy for the first time in a while.
