Chapter 102. All The Confidence

Suzie POV

The words alpha Jerry had thrown at me felt like a huge slap to the face, but I took it, without refuting his claims. I watched the man, rise from the floor and glare at me with so my hatred. His eyes were bloodshot and filled with so much hate for me.

“You killed my wife! You killed her!” he screamed like a mad man.

I sat there, on the floor, like a mute, unable to say anything to even as much as defend myself. What exactly was I going to defend? He was not wrong. I watched as he held his head and yelled out. He looked like he was in pain, pain from losing a very dear one.

The veins on his neck protruded, his nails digging into his scalp. The quadruplets surrounded me, each of them holding out a hand to help me up. But a part of me did not want to move, or rather, I did not have the will to move a single muscle.
