I walked down the hallways of the palace briskly, feeling more vibrant than ever. Leon was by my side, flipping through his notepad and reading the schedule for the day. And just like that, things had gone back to normal.

I had recovered fast, within a few days, due to my new found powers I got after the awakening. The moment I noticed I was feeling much better, I went straight to work. The plague was all that I could worry about, and I needed to do more research and find out how much it has affected the entire kingdom.
