Chapter 26. Kissing Alex

Suzie POV

“Why is geography always so complicated?” I groaned as I flipped through the pages of my notebook.

Alex sighed, his pen moving along the notebook in front of him. “Well, it’s Mr Park, you know how much ge loves to torment us with his unbearable homeworks.”

“Tell me about it. How am I supposed to draw mount Everest? I’m this close to dumping the homework in the trash,” I sighed, folding my arms.

Alex gave me a light pat on the back. “Come on, let’s breeze through this. I’ll help you as much as I can. What do you say?”

I slouched back in the chair, finally resigning to my faith. I nodded, picking up my pen and facing the notebook in front of me. Alex joined me and we answered questions together. Time seemed to fly as we focused intently on the assignment.

“And.. done!” I beamed, circling the answer to the last question.

Alex exhaled deeply and threw his pen down to the table. “Finally, that was a hellish experience.”
