Chapter 58. Happiness With Mum

Suzie POV

The grassdes swayed as I gently lowered myself to the low bushes filled with berries. A brown basket adorned my hips, and I slowly settled it down on the grass and began to plucking the ripe red berries from their branches.

“Hey Suzie! Look at this!”

My eyes snapped towards the voice and I saw her, holding a large conjoined berry together. She looked cheerful, her eyes beaming with an immense amount of happiness.

Blue eyes, brown hair with golden streaks Sylvia was just as pretty as when I had first laid eyes on her. The pack leader I had ran into at the forest was kind enough to bring me into his pack. The journey back to his pack took a few days, but eventually we reached it.

The pack was a small one, but the whole surroundings and atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming. People welcomed me with open arms and no one seemed to discriminate against me.
