Chapter 61. A Bounty And Finding Suzie

The smell of herbs and medicine filled the air as I sat at the waiting area with my brothers. The pack hospital was a place I detested being in, not only because of the unbearable smell, but also because of the kinds of people that littered the facility.

It was a place filled with grief and sadness. I would not have been here if not that my father had sent word that he wanted to see us. I sighed, running my hands through my hair as I was getting impatient each passing second. I tapped my foot on the floor rapidly, as I tried my best to wait patiently.

After a few excruciating minutes of waiting, a nurse walked up to us with a wide, courteous smile on her lips.

“Alpha Cole has finished receiving treatment for today, so you are free to go see him. He is on the fourth floor, in room 6.”

“Thank you,” Asher said as he rose up from his chair.

We followed suit and we all walked up to the elevator. After slipping in, the iron doors in fro
