Chapter 139. The Story

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

“Hey, hi…” Gabriella said as she rushed toward Eva through a passage in the mansion. Numerous maids walked by, carrying baskets of clothes and cleaning materials. Eva carried a tray and was moving toward the bakery in the mansion.

Gabriella got to her and tapped her on the shoulder. The moment she turned around and saw Gabriella, she said, “Oh, Miss Gabriella. Good morning.”

“Good morning. I was wondering if we could maybe hang out together today after your chores are done, that is.” Gabriella asked nervously.

“Really? Where do you want to go?” Eva asked as a look of excitement grew on her face.

“Well, I was thinking we'd go shopping, then have lunch and dinner together, just the two of us,” Gabriella replied.

Eva squealed in excitement, and everyone else in the passage turned to her as they walked by.

“Oh my gosh, are we becoming besties?” Eva asked.

“Well, we'll see. Let's just start with the hangout,” Gabriella re
