Chapter 146. Detective Kathrin
~3RD PERSON'S POV~
Kathrin, the young lady Anaya met at the museum before it's collapse, stood quietly in front of the building’s rubble. Yellow tape had been put around the scene, and only authorized authorities could cross it.
“To think there was an entire facility where chemicals were being worked on right under the museum,” a police officer said, stopping beside Kathrin.
Kathrin turned to him, then turned back to the collapsed biulding and let out a sigh. “We checked everything—files and records on this building; we've checked CCTV footage and interviewed all the staff that worked in this building. Over the years, it's had a lot of visitors, and there isn't a single record of an underground facility. Not a single soul knew of it, and not even Queen Elizabeth herself knew there was such a thing in the museum she supervised.
The chemicals we found scattered all over the scene were tested, and they turned out to be nothing but a colored, viscous liquid.
