Chapter 149. Cafeteria Dinner

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

Garret, the alpha of the blood-wrath pack, and Noah, the alpha of the dark-hound pack, stood on the roof of a building, preparing to ambush the council member they were assigned. Both took off their shirts, revealing their large muscles and rows of abs. For their ages, they were definitely in good shape.

“I can't believe I was made to team up with you,” Noah said, staring down at the roads below the biulding.

“There is no need to say it; the feeling is mutual. Let's just get this over with and go our separate ways,” Garret said.

“I agree,” Noah replied.

They both remained quiet, waiting for the council member to exit the building. Their plan was to follow his carriage until it got to a lonely area where they would eliminate him in secret.

“I overheard your conversation with that girl, Gabriella; it seems like you're in a lot of trouble with the head of the council,” Garret said with a blank expression.
