Chapter 249. Strong-willed

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

The sounds of sirens and the murmuring of people that had gathered at the scene of the explosion filled the air. Gregory sat at the back end of one of the ambulances that had arrived at the scene of the explosion. He stared quietly at the large flames as the firefighters struggled to put them out. The fire had spread to two neighboring houses, and several people had become victims of the tragic occurrence.

Gregory let out a sigh, then turned to the ground. Derren’s car finally pulled over in front of the scene, and both he and Steven rushed out of the car.

“Gregory,” Steven called as he ran toward the ambulance Gregory sat in. Gregory got on his feet as he saw Steven and Derren coming toward him. Both men stopped running, and Steven asked, “What happened here?”

“It was an explosion. Someone must have planted a bomb in the building the night before. I was lucky to have left the building before the bomb went off. Ruth wasn’t so lucky,” Gregor
