“You have two choices here today: turn around and go back to wherever you came from, or die here,” Siege said, raising his gun. All the soldiers who stood beside him also raised their guns toward Marie and her sister.

Marie's brows furrowed, and she squinted her eyes at Siege.

“Where is Professor Joseph?” she asked.

“I’m sorry, I don't know who that is,” Siege replied with a smirk, then began blasting bullets at the girls. All the other soldiers also pulled their triggers, firing randomly at will. Marie carried a blank expression on her face, staring at Siege as all the bullets slowed down and came to a stop in front of her and her sisters.

The soldiers emptied their magazines and finally stopped shooting. All the bullets, which hung in the air, dropped to the ground, making clunking sounds as they bounced off the metal floor.
