Valerie clenched her teeth tightly as she struggled to pull on a large lever hanging on a wall in the room where the two hundred platforms slowly slid toward their dooms. Even with her werewolf strength, her efforts were to no avail, as the lever was built to resist even the strongest werewolves.

Angela, on the other hand, tried multiple codes on another device sitting on a tall podium at the entrance to the room. She used her werewolf speed to try multiple codes in only a few seconds. But even with her speed, she had only tried 300 different combinations out of over eleven billion.

Meanwhile, Marie used her speed to release the people one by one from the platforms they lay on. The cuffs that were used to tie their hands and feet to the platform were made of thick, heavy metal, so they were difficult to pull apart. She tried as hard as she could, but she was still too slow. There were two hundred people to rescue, but she has only been able to re
