Chapter 297. Resurrection

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

~The night before~

Lunaris raised her right palm toward Anaya's grave. Bright white light gathered before the grave and shone brightly. The white light turned into a golden-yellow light and glowed even more. After a few minutes, it faded out, leaving behind an unconscious Anaya, who wore the same dress she did on the day she died. The dress was a complete mess, carrying the scars of her battle with the abyss demon, The Unknown.

Anaya fell toward the ground, but was quickly caught by Lunaris. As her head landed softly on Lunaris’s shoulder, her eyes opened. She felt a slight headache come up, and she placed her right palm on her forehead, standing up straight. Her eyes closed tightly, and she let out a soft groan.

“What… what's going on?” She asked, stepping away from Lunaris.

“Welcome back, Lady Anaya. We've all really missed you,” Lunaris said with a soft smile.

Anaya opened her eyes. Her eyes widened as she saw Lunaris's face.
