“The way the Abyss influences the mortal world is very limited because the moon goddess herself tried her best to minimize its interaction with this world's inhabitants; this is why strange elements are seen from time to time in this world but soon vanish without a trace.” Steven read to Christine from a book he took from his library. This book was written by a distant cousin who was very interested in the supernatural world and things that were hidden from the naked eye.

“From the information in this book, an agreement between the moon goddess and her evil half was to share this world. But the moon goddess had to separate her creation's perception of reality from the creations of her evil half's. This was to prevent chaos,” Steven continued.

“Well, that doesn't explain why an abyss demon is after my friend, Clarabelle,” Christine said. She sat on a seat in front of Steven's desk.

“True, but let's go over this whole thing from the beginning
