Chapter 84. Mental Link

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

A large white shock wave suddenly spread through the entire forest like a whisk of wind, blowing over the few leaves that hung from the branches of the dead trees and dark green grasses.

Gabriella looked around, hoping the wave hadn't informed any nearby predators of their position. She put out her torch flame and activated her werewolf aura so she could sense any danger coming from around her. Her eyes turned bright blue, and she turned from side to side.

“Angela…” Valerie whispered, both hers and Marie's eyes closed. With their combined metal power, they scanned the entire forest carefully, waiting for a reply from their sister.

“Angela….” Marie whispered.

After a few seconds, both of them called the name in unison. The shock wave spread again, and everything around them went completely silent. They remained quiet for a few seconds, and then the voice came.

“Valrie? Sinclair?” Angela's voice sounded softly in their heads.
