Eve’s POV

“Which trust? What are you guys talking about?” I stare at them in shock. They never tell me anything.

“The truth is that you are not ready for this absurd marriage,” Maryline says with her dismal glance.

Taking a deep breath as if she has accomplished a task. Despite all that I think or say, Maryline always fights for me and I puff out my breath. 

“It’s fine, Maryline, I will marry Adams.” I gaily say.

Shocked, she runs to me. 

“Are you sure of what you are about to do? Remember it’s not a game.” she insists. My shoulders slump.

“Yes!” I pick an apple from the table then I leave. I move to my room and lock myself in my room.
