At the Gate of Karat

Eve’s POV

“Eve, we’re leaving!” Maryline reminds me. 

“This soon, Maryline? Aren’t we going to visit the human world?” I frown. “You heard what I told Jack, why are you acting this way?” she frowns as well.

“I heard you but it’s not like the world is coming to an end. The king has simply reduced the number of troopers and I find it normal and Jack said it that there is no work fro them here.” I try to persuade her.

She walks straight to her horse, frowning “Young girl, you’re talking about things you know nothing about. Trust me, this is way more complicated than you can imagine.” she climbs on her horse.

“Then make me under because very soon I will be married to a man I know nothing about. I will be the Queen of two clans that I know nothing about. Which type of Queen, wife, or citizen will I be? if even the bases, I don’t know!” I clench her knee as she’s seated on the horse.

“Climb your horse. We have to leave.”
