Adams and Eve at the Office

Eve’s POV 

Matilda was terrified all night by what she had seen. Flashes came to her as she longed for the sun to rise.

Early the next morning, the troopers bid goodbye to the King and decided to go along with Matilda only as there was no hope that the Princess would show up. 

“As soon as they return, I will send the Princess right away.” Said the King. “Extend my sincere apologies to Prince Edmonton for the dissappointments.” with that said, the King walks away while they strike their horses and fly into the woods. 

As soon as troopers arrive, the leader of the troopers runs into Edmonton’s office, knocking the door.

“Get in. Hope you have some good news for me,” he warns as the trooper enters. 

“Sir we have 1 good and 2 bad news.”

Edmonton breaths out, “Start with the good one.”
