Esmeralda Pov

I stood there just watching the two of them, unable to answer Killian's question. The woman entangled with him looked at me, she wasn't smiling nor was she frowning, her expression was unreadable.

"Who is she?" She asked Killian. Her voice was soft and powerful, it was lovely to the ears but I was irritated by it.

My gut was churning as I looked at the both of them. I was angry but not the anger that I normally felt, this one tasted bitter and more intense. Itvwae jealousy.

I didn't knkw why I was jealous. Maybe it was his hand on her waist or how he wasn't repusked by her skin touching him like he was with me or maybe it was the fact that he wasnt sending her out of hus room instead he was hospitable to her.
