Curtis's POV
“What did you say?” I retorted. She just could not keep her damn mouth shut.
“You called me Sianna last night. Isn’t she the unfinished business that you have?” Gail asked boldly.
With that, I swiftly grabbed her by the throat. Both of her hands wrapped around mine as I choked her. The puny effort that she projected could not have stopped me from taking her life. She gagged and gaped for air, but none could pass her windpipe. My hands remained on her neck until the cracking of the bones ceased and her lifeless body dropped to the floor.
Peering out the window, I scope the outside because I had to bury her body. In the human areas, the police would need to do an investigation should they find out she was missing. This added pressure to leave this town and get on with my plans.
I found Joe at his usual spot and requested to borrow his car. He had a beat-up chevvy that he loaned me. I wrapped up Gail's deceased body in the red
