Chapter 30. Collison
Raina’s POV
“You don’t get to die today.”
At some point before the collision with the truck, a hand smashed the window, grabbed the collar of my green blouse, and vehemently yanked me from the car. I flipped in the air in an icy paralysis. The piercing sound of the calamitous explosion rendered my ears deaf with a sharp ringing.
Glass shards like bullets sprinkling the air glittered maliciously from the glare of the sun. The resplendent sky graced my sight for a split second before the lush green tree tops and then collided with the solid brown dirty ground.
Thud. As hot metal and splinters rained all about me, the smell of burning rubber and gasoline burned my nose. The tanker truck jackknifed and exploded.
“Oof!” I swore I broke a rib. Blood trickled down my forehead, warm and sticky. I stared at the mangled wreck that had once been good vehicles and a dreadful lump developed in my throat.
A second explosion thundered and I swif
