Chapter 123. Electric Storm

Valen’s POV

The barrage of the shooting lightning was horridly nerve-wracking. Raina's normally smooth face was wrought with wrinkles due to an ocean of fear possessing her.

“Shift now!” I commanded her with a little too much force.

She winced, but obeyed.

Willing the shift onwards, instantly my shoulders hunched and I collapsed forward. In a matter of seconds, my bones realigned themselves. Fur sprouted from my pores. The ticklish sensations vanished quickly as claws jutted from my limbs into enormous paws.
