Raina’s POV

In a blink, whatever I thought I had seen had disappeared.

Was I mistaken? Was my paranoia making me see things?

A sudden jab in my rib from Venus’ elbow snapped me out of my haunting thoughts.

Drawing her brows together, she asked, “Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
