“I'll take you.” Valen offered generously, hampering me from going towards Eddison.

Turning to Valen, I trailed my fingers up to his neck, his jaw and pleaded, “Today was a lot for me. I'd like to unwind by myself, and we can meet up later. Plus, there's something I’ll ask you about.”

“Then take the twins with you,” Valen suggested, anything to keep me from Eddison.
