“It was so easy for you to bail on us,” I muttered cynically, training my eyes on his emerald-eyed scrutiny. “You’ve broken your promises to me, remember?” I pointed at myself, getting worked up. “You refuse to help me with the sword, and you intentionally withhold information that could fix everything. So tell me, what went wrong? What was the problem? I have a right to know.”
