Chapter 448. Swiny
Raina’s POV
I stood in the uncanny mist, feeling its cool dampness settle over my clothes.
“Would you care about me entering the temple if it were your wolf about to wind up as a swiny rogue?” I asked Elder Jacob, keeping the bite out of my voice.
The old man was grumbling as he fumbled with the keys to open the temple doors. “Why isn't the medallion destroyed yet, huh? Blasted woman promised to get rid of it, but look at where that's gotten us. Should never have listened to her. But does anyone listen to me? No, Jacob. They don't.”
“The mist has a wolfsbane scent to it. I don't want to take any chances with it. So, yes, I will let her try whatever she wants. As long as the stone does not leave the temple,” Elder Victor, the primary temple custodian, stated, standing beside my scowling Gamma.
