Chapter 86. Movie Night

Vance’s POV

“Babe, let’s watch a movie.” Pointing the remote at the large one hundred and twenty inches television as she scrolled through and found some available movies in the living room.

“What did you have in mind?” I was in the kitchen sharing out some pistachio ice cream that she had a craving for and I was indulging in the treat with her.

“How about something scary like this Morbius?” She shouted across the hall.

My eyebrows bunched up as I sat beside her, placing the two bowls of ice cream on the center table with the spoons stuck in them. “How is that scary?” In fact, I rarely got scared of anything.

“It is, haven’t you seen the trailer?” She defended but her point was not connecting with me at all.

“Yes, and it’s about bat DNA. Nothing scary to me.” Her face was now irritated at me. “Okay, okay, we can watch it since you want to. I will enjoy it with you.” I gave her the ice cream with a loving smile. She played the movi
