What’s Your Answer?

“What happened?” Sam asks while taking my hand and kissing it.

“I did something I shouldn’t have and then let my anger take control of me. I knew it was stupid of me to go, but I needed to get some answers once and for all.” I say quietly before sitting down on the couch.

Sam sits next to me, and when I look into his eyes, I see how worried he is when he suggests, “Just sit back and relax before telling me everything. You got me curious now.”

Sinking into the down pillows that make up the back of the couch. I close my eyes for a moment before telling him.

After taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, I open them and prepare for what I am about to say.
