Chapter 22

Justin’s POV

I am on my way to pick up my sister, Selene, from the airport. Everything was all so sudden. I didn’t know she’d be coming home after a year in Japan. My mom just called me to pick her up at the airport.

“Hi there, my brother. It’s good to see you again,” she said as soon she saw me, and I welcomed her with a hug.

“Nice to see you again, Selene,” I took her luggage, and we went straight to the car. I know she’s tired, and she definitely needs to rest after a long flight.

For one week I’ve become so busy. I accompanied Selene to look for a new apartment as she didn’t want to stay in my apartment. She wanted her own space, so I let her.

Helping my sister, Selene, find a new apartment had turned into a mini-adventure of its own. Selene had spent the past year in Japan for work, and now she was back home in Paris, eager to have her own space.

We spent the past few days visiting various apartment listings and meeting with landlords.
