Edward grabbed a couple bottles of water and led us to their conference room. We were quickly joined by five more senior partners, three men, and two women. Seven total, with the one on vacation, so no votes would end in a tie. Which meant we needed four on our side.

As soon as everyone seated themselves, I introduced myself and Roxanne again, and Edward introduced the other senior partners.
