Chapter 28. Meet the Restaurant Boss

The door to the room that was now behind Ed Shane closed again. None other than that was done by the employee who had escorted him to the leadership of this restaurant's room.

"Lu--Lucy?" Ed Shane was so surprised by the presence of Lucy, who was now sitting in a chair at work.

Meanwhile, the woman who seemed surprised when she saw Ed Shane's presence now asked the man to sit down.

"Please sit down, Ed." She said, directing her friend's husband and the mistress of one of her adopted children to sit in a chair.

Ed Shane complied and he sat down on a chair that was right in front of Lucy's desk. The man was now silent, in his heart wanted to cancel this meeting but he can't.

But his little heart stopped him. Whatever it is while good, then do it. That's what makes Ed Shane at least still have a little intention to apply for a job.

"What are you doing here, Ed?" asked Lucy then.

"I ... by the way since when are you in charge of this restaurant?" Ed Sh
